Brian Gruber is founder and owner of Gruber & Associates, an independent insurance and employee benefits advisory firm based in Central Illinois, created to help businesses access strategic commercial insurance solutions, employee benefits consulting, and personalized risk management guidance.
Founded in 2025, Gruber & Associates was built around a simple belief: businesses deserve an insurance advisor focused on relationships, trusted counsel, and long-term protection — not transactional brokerage.
With more than 26 years of experience in commercial insurance, employee benefits, and risk management, Brian Gruber has helped organizations navigate business risk, strengthen employee benefit strategies, and make informed coverage decisions designed to protect what they have built.

After spending part of his career with one of the world’s largest publicly traded insurance brokerages, Brian saw the industry shift away from relationship-based advising toward consolidation, volume-driven sales, and less personalized service.

Deep Roots in Central Illinois
Brian Gruber is a native Peorian and lifelong Central Illinois resident with strong ties to the business and nonprofit community.
A graduate of Peoria Notre Dame High School and Wabash College, Brian returned to the Peoria area in 2012 with his wife Sarah and their children, Lydia and Maxwell, and has remained deeply involved in civic leadership and community service.
